Privacy Policy

Contact forms. When you reach out through our website, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number, business name, business ZIP code, current website, how you heard about us, the services you are interested in, and any comments.

Client onboarding and accounts. If you become a client, we collect the business information you give us to do the work: business details, brand and marketing preferences, service areas, competitors, and project goals. We may also receive access to accounts you choose to share with us, such as your Google Business Profile, Google Ads, analytics, or website accounts.

Payment information. If you save a card for billing, your card number and security code go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. They never reach our servers. We receive only the card brand, the last four digits, the expiration date, and your billing contact details.

Text messages. If you opt in to texts, we keep your mobile number, your consent, and the messages we exchange.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you request. We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate.

We use your information to:

• Respond to your inquiry and talk with you about our services
• Deliver the marketing, website, advertising, and AI services you hire us for
• Send project updates, reminders, invoices, and account notices
• Process payments you have authorized
• Improve our website and services
• Protect our site against spam, fraud, and abuse, and meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Moxi Marketing may send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them. Messages relate to our services: replies to your inquiries, scheduling and appointment reminders, project updates, and account or billing notices.

• Consent. We only text you after you opt in, for example by checking the SMS consent box on a form, texting us first, or telling us in writing that we may text you. Consent is obtained at the time you opt in. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
• Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry or project.
• Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
• Opt out any time: reply STOP to any message. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more texts unless you opt in again.
• Need help? Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@thisismoxi.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. The only parties that handle your number are the service providers that deliver our messages for us (such as Twilio), and only for that purpose.

We rely on a small number of trusted companies to run our business. Each receives only the information needed for its job, and each handles that information under its own privacy policy:

• Google for email, analytics, maps, and, for clients, the Google advertising and business tools we manage on your behalf
• Vercel to host this website
• Resend to deliver form notifications and transactional email
• Stripe to process and store payment cards securely
• Twilio to send and receive text messages
• Supabase to store client onboarding information

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business. In that case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, including the providers above, except as needed to deliver the messages you asked for.

Our site uses a small amount of browser storage to make features work, such as remembering your accessibility settings. Analytics tools and embedded content, like the Google Map in our footer, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some embedded features may not.

We keep information only as long as we need it:

• Inquiriesthat don't become projects are kept as long as needed to follow up, then deleted or kept only as ordinary business correspondence.
• Client records are kept for the length of our working relationship and afterward as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
• Payment cards stay on file with Stripe until you ask us to remove them or our billing relationship ends.
• Text-message consent records are kept as proof of your opt-in and opt-out choices.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal or billing reasons
• Stop sending you marketing email (use the unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We will honor them. To make any request, email hello@thisismoxi.com. We will respond within 30 days, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to the people who need it, and reputable providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take protecting your information seriously.

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page or sent to clients directly.
